Used the pi I had for “Homebridge”; so, I bought a second. Had to get a “package” (fan, heat sink, case and sd card); individual boards were back ordered for weeks. Still an amazing little thing; might try “retro pi” again.
Lego
I like lego’s. I have a few and a “mindstorm”. Jill gave me this starwars kit; pretty cool. I made a few omissions, but, it came out ok.
ROCK
My friend Ken is a joy
Scrambler
Had this bike when I was 18 or 19. Very cool. This one is for sale in California for $7,000. I think that is about ten time the price in 1967. Might be fun to have one again; but, ….
Roblox
Crate Top
I made this crate top. I am no carpenter; but, not too bad. Using “pocket holes” makes the joints pretty easy. Probably, cost more to make than it would to buy.
Homebridge
There is a lot in the world that is pretty disappointing; but, there are also some pretty smart people. Apple has something called “HomeKit. It is basically a way to implement the “internet of things”. You can control lights, locks, plugs, … from you apple device. It is pretty cool; but, only works with “HomeKit” devices (expensive). Well, some ingenious people came up with some software called “Homebridge” and with pluggin’s created by more ingenious people you can add “non-home kit things to HomeKit. It runs on a raspberry pi and I use it to connect to wyze cams; myq garage opener and some lights. Works pretty well and it is free. It is always good to see what is possible.
Still Working
Everything takes time.
Trees
Been a long time; but, maybe it is time.
